Why affiliate marketing, for beginners - this morning I asked
this question; having Googled it I found over a million other people
were asking a similar question, so obviously there is a considerable
amount of interest to begin working online.
I will therefore suggest why I think affiliate marketing is popular with beginners and why it is an excellent starting point for those wanting to learn online marketing.
First it is the simplest way I know of beginning online. Unless of course you already have a business and just want to add an online division to it. If that is the case you know all about running a business and marketing, you just need to set up a website and send traffic to it. You know your niche and there are plenty of marketing books available, and website tutorials.
For all newbies looking to start a business online affiliate marketing is ideal because you don't have to worry about payments, delivery or customer service as would be the case in traditional business. All you have to concentrate on is to send interested shoppers to other company's products.
Yes you have to learn about "traffic" and the best ways to send people to a squeeze page (a website page provided for you), but there are books and videos to teach you about marketing. You just direct people to a website and get paid. Affiliate marketing is a very simple business strategy which has been working for years. An earlier version was drop shipping.
If you really want to keep it simple, find a coach or mentor who has products you like, who uses a dynamic approach to teaching, is very hands-on, and teaches in a simple straight forward way.
The other way is to find a membership website aimed at beginners, where everything is taken step by step. Coaches can also be found on face book groups. These are communities of like-minded people who will help and encourage you. Sometimes they are closed groups that you have to request to join. Another way is by Googling your topic and the word forum you can find similar groups on the web. Read their terms and conditions before you post as they all vary.
Whichever way you choose to begin don't abandon your current job until you are satisfied with the success of your new business, and orders are flooding in. Begin part-time as a hobby business and learn the techniques, that way you won't have money worries.
Affiliate marketing is relatively inexpensive to set-up and if you wish you can use free traffic initially. Choose a topic or niche you are passionate to study and that will love learning more about. There are companies in all niches looking for affiliates.
Visit book stores and if there are books and magazines available in your favourite topic, that is probably a good choice, however you can also test the viability of your topic with Google's keyword tool. There are many books on online marketing you might like to read.

Tell the supplier exactly what you require it to do and he will suggest the best model for you, my supplier even loaded programs for me.
